We are constantly looking for ways to positively impact our environment. In 2021 we teamed up with Zilch Forwarding to off set our shipping carbon footprint.

The global marketplace has seen a dramatic shift in how countries, industries and businesses prioritise sustainability and emissions reporting. 

Yet until now, the transport sector has struggled to adapt to the growing market need for greater transparency into logistics emissions and for cleaner pathways to market.

The problem with greenhouse gases

Freight transportation is almost exclusively powered by fossil fuels, making up roughly 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

Demand for freight is expected to triple by 2050 compared to 2015 according to the International Transport Forum (ITF)2 , fuelled by global supply chains, burgeoning economies in the developing world, and a rise in e-commerce activities. Over the same period, the world will see a doubling in freight transport GHG emissions if we proceed with business as usual.
